When retiring from cycling, I made the decision that I wasn’t going to let my body stop me from participating in life. I want to experience all of the opportunities life can throw at me, so I need to build a body that is capable of keeping up.
Training for me also isn’t just mental. To strengthen my body, I understand that I must first strengthen my mind. To be able to push yourself to accomplish extreme feats requires you to tap in to a place that you once thought was not possible. This is a skill, one that I work on refining through physical training.
